Rossnowlagh Beach in County Donegal stretches from the cliffs at Coolmore in the south, to the rock outcrop at Carrickfad.
It is renowned as one of Ireland's main surfing beaches and has soft, golden sands with exceptional views of the Atlantic ocean across this 2.5 mile (4km) stretch.
The beach faces west and has spectacular views over Donegal Bay towards the sea cliffs at Slieve League and out into the Atlantic Ocean.
